What Dukan24 is

Dukan24 is a marketplace. Independent shops list their own products, set their own prices, and are responsible for what they sell. We run the platform, carry the orders and arrange delivery. The sale is between you and the shop.

Your account

You need a confirmed email address to order. Keep your password to yourself: anything done through your account is treated as done by you. Tell us if you think somebody else has access.

Resetting your password signs out every other session. That is deliberate.

Prices and orders

Prices are in Iraqi dinars. Totals are rounded to the nearest 250 dinars, because that is the smallest note in normal circulation.

Placing an order holds the stock, and the shop then accepts or cancels it. Stock and prices can change while you browse; the price confirmed at checkout is the one that applies.

Paying

Cash on delivery, or payment at the counter for pickup orders. You pay the courier when the goods reach you, or the shop when you collect. Nothing is taken from you before that.

Delivery and pickup

For delivery, your order page shows a short code. The courier enters it to confirm they handed the order to you, so do not give it to anybody who has not given you the goods.

For pickup, show the pickup code at the counter. Both codes work once.

Cancelling and returning

You can cancel an order yourself while it is still pending or confirmed. After that, contact the shop.

Returns and refunds are arranged with the shop and handled case by case. There is no automated returns process yet, and we would rather say so than imply otherwise.

Selling on Dukan24

A shop is reviewed before it appears in the marketplace, and can be suspended for misrepresenting what it sells, failing to fulfil orders, or listing anything unlawful.

We take a commission on each completed order at the rate shown in your dashboard. Commission is earned when an order completes, not when it is placed.

Using it properly

Do not try to reach other people’s orders or accounts, interfere with the service, or use it to sell anything you are not lawfully allowed to sell.

What we are responsible for

We are responsible for running the platform. We are not the seller: the shop is responsible for the goods, their description, and their condition on arrival.

The service is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, and we are not liable for indirect losses.

Changes and contact

We may change these terms. The date above shows when they last changed, and continuing to use Dukan24 means accepting the current version.
